In March 2024 our co-founder Dirk Raiser supported the AMADEE-24 Mars simulation mission near Armash in Armenia as a GOST member (Ground Operation Support Team). This mission was carried out by the Austrian Space Forum (ÖWF) in cooperation with the Armenian Space Agency as an authentic test run for the astronautical exploration of the Red Planet and was led by the ÖWF Mission Support Center in Austria, which also simulated a realistic time delay in communication. A crew of six highly qualified analog astronauts conducted experiments with spacesuit prototypes to prepare for future human and robotic Mars exploration missions and to facilitate the understanding of the advantages and limitations of future astronautical exploration, which goes perfectly along with the values and visions of PARSEC.
